We’ve picked out five European football tips for Sunday from France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Spain
Marseille to beat Guingamp @ 33/100
Les Phoceens have won four of the last five meetings between these sides at Stade Velodrome and are fancied to further improve that strong record. Rudi Garcia’s team went into the international break in fine spirits following a 3-2 victory at Monaco in Ligue 1 and can hopefully pick up where they left off. Guingamp are bottom of the table with no points from four games and easy to oppose in our European football tips.
Werder Bremen to beat Nuremberg @ 13/20
Florian Kohfeldt’s side improved on a 1-1 home draw against Hannover when securing a 2-1 success at Eintracht Frankfurt, with Milot Rashica coming off the bench to net in stoppage time. Japan World Cup star Yuya Osako also hit the target in that game, while fellow summer signing Davy Klaassen has settled in nicely since joining from Everton. Nuremberg are one of the favourites for relegation from the Bundesliga.
Sevilla to beat Getafe @
53/100
Sevilla will be keen to bounce back from a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Real Betis before the international break, when conceding late on after Roque Mesa had seen red. Pablo Machin’s side had previously impressed in Europa League action this term and when securing a 4-1 domestic success at Rayo Vallecano, where Andre Silva hit a hat-trick. Getafe are an honest, hard-working bunch, but may just have their limitations exposed.
Genoa to beat Bologna
Bologna lost 12 times on the road last season and look vulnerable at Luigi Ferraris after failing to score in their first three league matches this term. Genoa belatedly kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 triumph over Empoli at this venue and then netted three times in defeat at Sassuolo, with Poland forward Krzysztof Piatek impressing after a summer switch, so they do have the attacking firepower to get the job done.
Spartak Moscow to beat Terek Grozny @ 11/20
Spartak failed to capture the services of John Terry this week but they are going along nicely in the Russian Premier League with 14 points from six games, two adrift of Zenit after drawing away to the early pacesetters last time out. Massimo Carrera will now be eyeing a fourth straight domestic success at Otkrytie Arena, while Grozny have lost all three road games, making this an obvious pick for our European football tips.
