RB Leipzig to beat Hannover @ 1/2
After losing 4-1 at Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig went into the international break on the back of a frustrating 1-1 home draw with Fortuna Dusseldorf. However, they will have been happy to see promising young striker Jean-Kevin Augustin net in both matches and there have also been some encouraging results in the Europa League qualifying rounds this season, so we still have faith in Ralf Rangnick’s side.
Bayern Munich to beat Bayer Leverkusen @ 1/5
FC Hollywood began their quest for a seventh straight German title with a couple of smooth victories against Hoffenheim at home and Stuttgart away, netting three times in each game. Old stalwarts Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Arjen Robben are already up and running in the goals department and another triumph over pointless Bayer Leverkusen is easy to include in our Bundesliga predictions.
Wolfsburg to beat Hertha Berlin @ 21/20
Both of these teams will be delighted to have picked up maximum points from their first two fixtures, but we reckon Wolfsburg are better equipped to maintain the momentum. Former Stuttgart forward Daniel Ginczek and ex-AZ Alkmaar striker Wout Weghorst have made an immediate impact at their new club with early goals and the feeling is that Bruno Labbadia now has a well-balanced squad.

Hoffenheim to win at Fortuna Dusseldorf @ 9/10
Hoffenheim have really caught the eye this term, thrashing Kaiserslautern 6-0 in the cup, only succumbing to two late goals in a 3-1 loss at Bayern Munich and then coming from behind to beat Freiburg 3-1. Hungary midfielder Adam Szalai has hit the ground running with three goals in two league games, while striker Andrej Kramaric should now be fully recovered from his World Cup exploits with Croatia.
Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Schalke @ 23/20
Monchengladbach will be more than satisfied with their start to the new campaign, beating Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 on home turf before recovering from an early setback to draw 1-1 at Augsburg. Schalke are still coming to terms with the summer departures of Thilo Kehrer, Leon Goretzka and Max Meyer and will have Yevhen Konoplyanka suspended after his dismissal in a 2-0 loss to Hertha Berlin, so let’s take them on in our Bundesliga predictions.
